What customers say?

“ I don't often stay in Tanimachi, so I was looking for somewhere to eat dinner, and when I came across Sirloin Tsukimi Nikuhan and Sara Taiwan, I decided on it immediately. It was good value for money, and I had Urte's Ume Suisho as a snack, which was exactly my taste, and they also had Vice Sour, and Iki's Daiginjo Yokoyama, so it was perfect and I loved it. The specialty grilled offal was delicious, and the Omen Omasa sashimi was also delicious. The only downside was that Sara Taiwan was a little salty, but I was already full so it couldn't be helped. This place is great! I'll definitely come again! ”

“ The restaurant is located about eight minutes from both Sakaisuji Honmachi and Tanimachi 4-Chome. While it's not particularly close to the station, it's a quiet, peaceful area with little foot traffic on weekends. The restaurant is on the second floor of a building, and judging from the street sign, it's what's called "upstairs." The atmosphere is casual, but given the location, the clientele is generally laid-back, including families. The order for four of us was as follows: ▼ ------ ・Mille-feuille Toro Taku ・Potato Salad with Various Eggs ・Salted Offal Stew x 2 ・Seared Wagyu Beef ・Grilled Thigh ・Mapo Tofu ・Shibazuke Tartar Nanban ・Drool-Proof Cucumber ・Carrot Karamuucho ・Mao Zedong Tulip x 2 ・Grilled Yam and Mentaiko ・Various Offal Stir-Fry with Miso ------ We added a two-hour all-you-can-drink plan for ¥700 per hour. (First Half) The potato salad was incredibly smooth and moist. The mille-feuille toro-taku had a fun texture, with a combination of seared and shredded meat. The wagyu beef tataki had a great balance of rareness and sesame oil, making it incredibly meaty. The mapo tofu was generous with minced meat and had a sharp spiciness. The grilled thigh, which we cut into pieces with scissors, was even moister than it looked and had a delicious aroma. We had seconds of the salted offal stew, with its clean flavor and varied textures that were addictive. (Second Half) The shibazuke tartar nanban had a refreshing acidity. The mouth-watering cucumber was the perfect palate cleanser. I tried Karamuucho, carrots, and mayonnaise for the first time, and the unexpected combination was even better than I imagined, pairing well with a highball! The Mao Zedong Tulip, spiced with star anise and five-spice powder, was a shocking addition, reminiscent of "The Inugami Family" (lol). The mild and addictively delicious grilled yam and mentaiko. The miso-fried offal offered a delightful blend of different flavors and textures. It was 700 yen for two hours of all-you-can-drink, but we drank a ton! The dishes were all perfectly paired with alcohol. And yet, the food wasn't overly flavorful; the spiciness, sourness, and saltiness were just right, so we enjoyed a variety of flavors without getting bored. I recommend two people for a quick snack, but I think three or four people would be a great option! It seems they also offer daytime drinking on Saturdays, so it's a great place to visit in the Sakaisuji Honmachi area. ”

“ An absolute gem of an izakaya. We popped in for lunch after touring Osaka Castle. It's a bit of a walk, but if you learn anything while traveling, it's that trying to eat right next to major tourist attractions is a nightmare. Do yourself a favor, push through, and walk to Konouesan. Have a lemon sour (or six) and order literally anything off their menu (QR code for English!). You won't regret it. ”

“ Amazing food, amazing service and amazing atmosphere. Picked this place at random and we were so happy that we did. Highly recommend for everyone to try once or twice or even thrice. ”

“ My first impression when I walked in to the restaurant was that it was too much smoke (you will smell on the barbecue when you go out definitely), but that's OK, take or leave it. Let's go on food and the service. We'll food is simply good and service is outstanding all team was running like a chicken to deliver the food and make customers happy. Definitely place with the soul and tasty food. Beer lovers will be happy with the menu here like me (everything is perfect matching with the beer). The restaurant is on the second floor a bit small stairs to up...local place but foreigners are welcome and there is QR code English menu. ”

“ This popular izakaya is located roughly halfway between Sakaisuji Honmachi and Tanimachi 4-Chome. All-you-can-drink options, including draft beer, start at 700 yen (excluding tax), and the menu offers a wide variety of dishes, including seared meat, mille-feuille toro taku, and mapo tofu. The day we visited, a company party was taking place, and the place was nearly full. Not only is it affordable, but the food is also delicious, as it's often used for parties. This is what I had on the day I visited! ◆Mille-feuille Toro Taku (Toro Taku) ¥650 ◆Domestic Wagyu Beef Tataki ¥950 ◆Sirloin Tsukimi Meat Sushi ¥980 ◆Salmon Parent and Child Rare Cutlet ¥680 ◆Fatty Tetchan Satamina Yaki ¥680 ◆Mapo Tofu ¥680 ◆Miso and Walnut Cream Cheese ¥450 ◆Potato Salad with Various Eggs ¥520 ◆Urute Ume Suisho ¥450 ————————— The Mille-feuille Toro Taku and Meat Sushi, the salmon parent and child rare cutlet, looked beautiful and tasted great too If you pre-order the Meat Sushi online, the price will be reduced from ¥980 to ¥680! *As of November 2nd The Wagyu Tataki (seared beef) offers a rare flavor, and the mapo tofu is delicious with a subtle spiciness. The Toro Tetchan (simmered beef stew) is tender and flavorful with garlic. I didn't do any special care, but the smell didn't linger the next day, so I was relieved. The potato salad, Urute Ume Suisho (plum crystal), and miso and walnut cream cheese were all great snacks! They were perfect for those who mainly drink or for a second stop. It's close to the station and has good value for money, so I highly recommend checking it out. ”
